Beckley Automotive is an award winning Bosch Authorized Service center for European cars and a AAA Approved Auto Repair center for American and Asian automobiles.
While many shops in the area are struggling, cutting tech hours and benefits, we are busier than ever and adding technicians. We’ve served Central Iowa over 30 years.
Although we work extensively on imports, (75% Import, 25% Domestic) most of our technicians come from domestic car backgrounds. Some of our best recruits were lead techs at smaller independent shops and franchises like Car-X and Tuffy. They had good talent but were also overworked and underpaid. This is a professional, career position that respects and rewards your skill and dedication.

Technician Positions
Diagnostic Tech. Skills require the ability to resolve complex drivability and electrical problems. ASE Master certification preferred or you must be willing to complete the certification without delay. During the trial period the candidate must pass the Bosch on-line electrical test (you will have study guides for this). Upon successfully passing the electrical test you will be scheduled to begin the authorized Bosch Automotive Service training in Chicago (all paid). Training includes all aspects of modern automotive systems including gasoline and diesel fuel injection, engine and power-train management and the active & passive safety systems (ABS, SRS, etc) used on all modern cars. Here at Beckley’s - unlike many shops - our diagnostic techs make the best money, over $60,000.
Line Tech - All makes. Brakes, tires, major & minor services, timing belts, suspension repair, etc. Good speed and accuracy are required and we make that easy in a clean, modern, well equipped shop with excellent management.
